Giant Spider Master Casting (Limited Amount) [RESIN}

Master Casting - this is the first mould made directly from the sculpt, so will be the most faithful reproduction you can get, will be the closest to the original dimensions of the sculpt, and may include details or features that differ from the prodcution version if they have to be changed for casting purposes. Each casting from a mould degrades the mould by chemical process very slightly, so you don't get more than eg 10-20 castings before you might see a rip or tear that prevents the mould being used further - hence, this is LIMITED in number! master castings cannot be replaced, and the price reflects this. The Master Casting may be withdrawn from sale at any time if the mould rips unexpectedly early.

The Giant Spider will eventually also be available in either Siocast or metal if things go well, both of which will slightly change the thickness of the legs, torso etc by nature of the moulding process

This Master Casting version of the Giant Spider includes an option to buy a 40mm Resin Scenic Base or not at a discounted price. It also includes extra spider legs with slightly different posing which may or may not transfer to the production version depending on mould space

It is supplied unpainted and unassembled, and will require superglue and modelling tool use to clean away any mould lines (rounded things are very difficult to mould without mould lines, they are inevitable!)

This product is not a toy. It is a scale model kit intended for expert modellers over the age of 15. 
Due to the essential small parts and pointed components there is a choking hazard and it must be kept out of the reach of children, especially under 36 months old.
If filing or sanding polyurethane resin, respiratory safety equipment such as a dust mask MUST be worn, as breathing in resin dust can cause a severe allergic reaction or be otherwise harmful.
Models must be assembled using cyanoacrylate (superglue), and other expert modelling methods such as drilling and pinning.

PLEASE NOTE: Where required, all the model kits are normally supplied with random plastic blank slotted bases, either round or square, depending on what is in stock and the shape may therefore differ from the photographs. 
As younger customers may only be familiar with modern Games Workshop unslotted bases, to fill an unwanted slotted tab hole, simply cover over it with a little masking tape before texturing as normal. If you wish to fill the hole from beneath, use modelling putty, plasticine or blu-tac.
