Ya Missed It!
Sorry, but due to wear and tear the perfect grade Dragon is currently unavailable, as warned. Andy will have to run a Kickstarter to do a third production run - if there is enough interest.
- In the meantime, an ever-diminishing quality Imperfect Dragon option is now available. To begin with the wear and tear will be almost imperceptible but as castings go on it will become more noticeable. However, there is a discounted price on that kit so an ideal opportunity for the modellers out there. Have a look at it here
As part of the Kickstarter, Andy made a new head for the NEXT Dragon, and has retrofitted it to make it work with the original Dragon.
Please choose which head you would like from the Dropdown option when pre-ordering, or you can have both heads for an extra £15, or two of the same head, even!
There's a whole tale of woe attached to the original production run of the Heresy Dragon, you can read it on the Dragon entry on Andy's Blog: http://heresyminiatures.com/shop/blog/2015/08/dragon-slayed/ - ALL the problems that happened back then have of course long since been dealt with, defeated and learned from, so this last production run will be very smooth and easy by comparison! it will still tkae time as Heresy is a one-man business thoguh, so be patient whilst waiting for your Dragon to be cast up, there's a lot to prepare for in Spring next year, the big Salute trade show tramples over everything else...
The Dragon is a large, multi-part polyurethane resin collector's model kit that requires filling, gluing and assorted modelling skills to assemble and complete. It is of course supplied unpainted and unassembled.
It is not for the inexperienced modeller. Andy made a Facebok live video during the kickstarter campaign, of how to assemble the dragon; it is quite long and contains swearing but is very instructive:

The Dragon will never be available in metal, it is too big for that.
